EVE 6 SIGNED MY PANTS: Adventures at Speed Street...
Okay, this is the first time i have decided to contribute to the damn site, but if it will get rikki off of my case, i will do it. : } this story takes place in a land far far away, a land called North Carolina, in the blessed and glittering province of Charlotte. hoorah! see, rikki and i have the amazing good fortune of living on either side of Charlotte Motor Speedway. Therefore, any time i go to her house, and vice versa, we get to drive right past it in all of its redneck glory.Buuuuuuuuttttttttttt... to the point, last week was the week of the coca cola 600, and something else, i dunno. it was loud. well, in honor of this fortuitous week, the Charlotte equivalent of Times Square {hahaha}, Trade and Tryon, was transformed into Speed Street.now see, normally, neither my friends nor myself would be caught dead within a hundred feet of the damned lace, but as it happened, EVE 6 would be there. Thursday night. at 9 o'clock. possibly the worst time slot ever for a band that has absolutely NOTHING to do with racing. but, to see them, we would face the pinnacle of redneck heaven. we would go to Speed Street! {da da duuuummmmmmmm!}
